Barn & Agricultural Conversions
Converting under utilised barns and agricultural buildings is not only sustainable and economical but it creates inspiring spaces in which to live and work.
James Clague Architects have extensive experience in the conversion of unused rural structures to provide them with a new lease of life as homes or commercial premises. These conversions provide rewarding developments for their owners while preserving and enhancing existing structures.
Our partners provide a full-service approach, from initial feasibility studies (where our engineering and planning partners are pivotal) to creating stunning designs and securing the necessary consents, through to delivering technical design packages and providing support through the construction stage.
The process would start with an initial consultation and an assessment of the building and site by our team of partners, including Planning and Heritage Consultants, Architects and Structural Engineers. If there is potential for conversion of the building to the required use then our Planning and Architecture partner will act as lead consultant to take you through every step of the project to realise the development potential.
